What are High Performance Wallcoverings called Easy-Walls®?
High Performance Wallcoverings are newly designed, technically advanced Wallcoverings, created to be easy to install and easy to remove. Easy-Walls is an environmentally friendly product, made out of natural and synthetic fibers. It is printed with water based inks and it is more breathable. When installed on a sound wall, it redresses vapor lock, a common cause for mold and mildew. Easy-Walls can be removed completely in full sheets in approximately 15-20 minutes, in an average 10x10 room. It is not necessary to use any special tools or harsh chemicals to remove this product from the wall.

What is non-woven fabric?
Warner brand’s non-woven fabric is an environmentally friendly fabric made of synthetic fiber, paper pulp, and latex resin binder. This special blend of natural materials is what makes the wallpaper washable, breathable, and easier to remove.

What is the best wall preparation prior to hanging Warner’s non-woven fabric?
Warner’s non-woven fabric should be applied to a clean, primed, and painted wall in order to achieve the best hanging performance and, eventually, complete removal when redecorating. (Most new construction will have one coat of a builder’s primer and at least one coat of latex paint)

Can you hang Warner’s non-woven fabric on satin, semi gloss and gloss painted walls?
Yes, it will hang beautifully on all of these surfaces.

Can you hang over a wallcovering primer?
Yes. It is not necessary to apply a wallcovering primer if the walls already have at least one coat of a latex primer and one coat of latex paint on the walls. If you are wallpapering over new dry wall, we recommend applying a coat of latex primer and a coat of latex paint, prior to hanging, for best results.

Can you use pre-paste activators or lightweight adhesives, pasting the back of Warner’s non-woven fabric and still achieve the same results?
Yes, while not required or recommended, this application generally does not alter product performance.

Can the wall be pasted for dry hanging?
Again, while not recommended, lightweight strippable pastes generally will not alter product performance.

Can you hang Warner’s non-woven fabric on previously papered walls?
Borders can be applied on vinyl coated or solid vinyl wallcoverings following hanging instructions. Do not use vinyl-over-vinyl adhesives. We are still testing the application of non-woven fabric bolts over vinyl coated or solid vinyl wallcoverings.

How easy is it to work with Warner’s non-woven fabric product once it is on the wall?
The repositioning characteristics of Warner’s non-woven fabric are better than those of paperbacked vinyl due to its improved durability and stability. The entire sheet can be removed and repositioned easily with no creasing.

How do we address air bubbles?
If there are air bubbles after application they will dissipate quickly due to the product’s breathability. You will also find that this product dries completely in hours, not days.

Does Warner’s non-woven fabric trim the same as vinyl products?
It trims much better than paperbacked vinyl products because there is less of a tendency to tear. We still recommend changing razor blades frequently for nice clean cuts.

How do you clean Warner’s non-woven fabric?
The surface of the product may be cleaned using a soft sponge with mild soap and warm water.

How do I remove this product from the wall?
When hung as recommended, this product may easily be removed from the wall without the use of special tools or chemicals. Simply lift the top corners of each strip and pull down from both sides until you have the first 4” to 5” of the top of the strip off the wall. Next grab the strip firmly in both hands and pull straight down to remove the entire sheet. When all strips are removed, use a sponge and clean warm water to remove any paste from the wall.

What will future collections be printed on?
These new products offer so much promise. All future collections will be printed on a completely removable substrate. It is our belief that in time the industry will move in the same direction.
